So I've literally been bursting at the seams about this news for months, but today we can finally get excited and announce that one of our amazing Cake Eaters Anonymous attendees is going to be on the new series of the Great British Bake Off! Can anyone be more excited than us about this news? I think not...
The ever lovely Jordan has been a long time attendee at our Cake Eaters events and has always been a creator of astounding bakes, like this amazing Dobos Torte from our last event. And we're SOOOOO excited that he's going to be on what is undoubtedly the best baking show is Britain. And rightly so!
Back in March, we were invited by Jordan to take part in some filming for his background segment on the show. Me and the other Cake Club gang wore our best frocks and baked some yummy treats whilst we were filmed by the BBC to the bemusement of the other diners and drinkers at the Malt Cross in Nottingham! Here are the bakes we made for the filming...
And today the BBC has finally revealed the list of contestant so we can officially start to let the world know we're part of #teamjordan! So this is your warning folks, prepare to be spammed with Jordan-ness on my social media platforms for the duration of the Bake Off.
